PTE Test format: 

The Pearson Test of English Academic

Pearson Test of English (PTE) is a computer-based English Proficiency test that evaluates your Speaking, Writing, Reading and Listening skills. So many students take this exam in order to study abroad and so many individuals take this exam as they want to get a Permanent Residency in foreign countries like Australia, New Zealand.

PTE academic test is consists of 4 modules along with 20 task types in the form of 3 parts. This test is approximate 3 hours with 10 minutes optional break. Each part of PTE academic contains a number of sections along with individual timing.

Before the Speaking section, there is a personal introduction students have to record introduction for 30-40 seconds. This item is non-scoring. In this section, the recording status box will count down for 25 seconds after that there is a beep tone and then students have to give the response for 40 seconds. Try to finish your speaking before the progress bar reaches the end. Remember that you are only able to record your response only once.
